Rihanna Celebrated Her 30th Birthday In An Epic Way

Rihanna turned 30 yesterday and celebrated the major milestone with a swanky-but-private birthday bash in NYC with her family and close friends. Despite the private nature of the event, we were blessed with a glimpse of the birthday girl as she arrived at the venue.

Rihanna, a bonafide fashion icon, took b-day dressing to new heights (or volumes, rather) in a fuchsia Saint Laurent bubble dress from the brand's Spring 2018 collection. She accessorized with massive jeweled earrings, rings and a diamond bracelet on the right wrist. She kept her hair down in loose curls that fell at her shoulders.

RiRi has already proven she's a fan of this collection. In October, she wore a pair of white fur boots from the range just days after they hit the runway in Paris.

Rihanna's intimate party took place at The Pool in Midtown Manhattan, TMZ reports. The celebrity attendees reportedly included Leonardo DiCaprio, Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Chris Zylka, Toni Braxton, and, of course, her best friend Melissa Forde.

She also hosted a couple of stylish, pint-size guests, including her niece, Majesty, who pulled out all the stops in a tiara and multicolored fur coat. (She's definitely taking fashion lessons from her auntie.)

And Rihanna's mother, Monica, made an appearance in a white halter gown and jeweled sandals.

RiRi dedicated a sweet birthday post to her mom earlier in the day. "Thank you for carrying me, birthing me, raising me, supporting me, teaching me, and loving me unconditionally! The woman I am today is because of everything that you are!" the singer wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post.

One guest we didn't see—at least in photos outside the party—was Rihanna's rumored boyfriend, Saudi businessman (and casual billionaire) Hassan Jameel. The last time they were seen together was last month, when they attended a Grammys afterparty together in NYC.

However, Page Six reports that he was present at last night's party and Rihanna was "very close with" him all night, sources say.

This afternoon, Rihanna reminisced over her birthday bash with some amazing photos on Instagram. "sturdiest night of all !!! surrounded by the people I love the most !!! 30 is already my favorite era," she captioned a pic of her sipping on a drink at the party.

She also revealed that her "fav," Toni Braxton, performed at the celebration. Rih clearly loved the set.

She posed for some squad pics with her besties, too.

Guests enjoyed plenty of champagne at Rihanna's black-tie celebration, according to Page Six. The group enjoyed a four-course meal, which included gnudi with caviar and peppered filet mignon, a source told the site.
