Rihanna is facing a backlash from some of her followers for Photoshopping pictures of Queen Elizabeth on her Instagram account. The singer – who posted four photos of the monarch over the weekend – has caused some upset, with some users branding her posts disrespectful.
"Leave my queen alone RiRi, please," one user wrote, while another went as far as to call her a "stupid little girl". Another one of her followers said: "Whatever the message here, one thing is clear, Rihanna is obviously delusional. My Queen carries herself with poise and elegance. Something Rihanna has never done. I find this disrespectful but expect nothing more from bad girl Riri."
On Twitter, she saw a similar reaction to her bizarre posts.
Rihanna has not removed the photographs or responded to the controversy.

Since Queen Elizabeth II turned 91 on Friday, social media has seen numerous birthday tributes, but by far the strangest of them all has been Rihanna's Instagram ode to Her Majesty.
We're not entirely sure whether Rihanna was aware that the Queen is celebrating her birthday or whether the timing is simply a coincidence, but since yesterday evening the Barbadian singer has posted a series of photographs of the monarch, as you've never seen her before.
Demonstrating her Photoshopping skills, Rihanna has turned our monarch into a street style star, sporting everything from a pair of thigh-high green boots to a Gucci vest worn over a chainmail top. And not just any street style star; fans will immediately spot that the singer superimposed the Queen's head onto images of her own body.
We're not sure the looks will go down that well at the Palace but they've clearly kept Rihanna entertained.
