The Royals Celebrate Princess Catherine’s Birthday Amid The Prince Harry Memoir Drama
The Princess of Wales turns 41 today.
Happy birthday, Princess Kate!
Catherine, Princess of Wales, celebrates her 41st birthday today, January 9. To mark the occasion, Buckingham Palace tweeted a photo of the royal looking happy and stunning in a red coat while accepting flowers from a little girl.
"Wishing The Princess of Wales a very Happy Birthday today!" the palace wrote in the post caption.

It's unknown how Kate, Prince William, and their three kids will celebrate, as the day comes at a tumultuous time for the royal family due to Prince Harry's memoir, Spare. The Duke of Sussex releases his book tomorrow, and in the days leading up to it has sat down for various tell-all interviews in which he's spoken candidly about his relationship with King Charles, Queen Camilla, William, and Kate, as well as of the way the Waleses treated Duchess Meghan after she married Harry.
In his interviews with ITV and CBS' 60 Minutes, Harry talks about the highly publicized feud between Kate and Meghan, saying that from the start, the institution pinned the duchesses against one another, making it impossible for one to thrive without the other one being cast in a bad light. Much of this, he says, was due to the way the royals' individual communications departments work, namely the planting of stories that goes on behind the scenes.
In his talk with ITV presenter Tom Bradby, Harry said that when he married Meghan, he hoped they would form a great, easy unit with Kate and Will, "but very quickly it became Meghan versus Kate."
