Update, 7:09pm: While Cheo’s newly set up @arissacheo IG account appears to have been shut down—or kept highly private—(by the socialite herself, we assume), it seems like Cheo turned up her A (for Arissa) game and managed to claim her Instagram account—@xarissaxcheox—rightfully back, stamping her bio simply with an “A.” and her name in full caps. We can’t the same for her fashion-centric account—@arrissa.cheoo—at the moment, though we trust that the socialite will claim that one back too in due time. Let’s keep our fingers crossed, and stay tuned for more updates.
Update, 3:28pm: Sources came with news that Cheo may have created a new private account—@arissacheo. Followed by her inner circle of friends like DJ Has (@trustmrhas) and fellow socialite Kim Lim (@kimlimhl), we can only wonder if this account is truly authentic… And more importantly, if it’s also under digital attack.
Update, 3pm: It seems that the hacker, Mr KadiKasi, has managed to worm his way into Cheo’s personal (and verified) account with a reach of 324k followers. The profile has been made public with Cheo’s profile photo and bio changed.
While that’s happening, her fashion Instagram handle has been updated to @arrissa.cheoo. Stay tuned as the drama unfolds.

An eagle-eyed source provided these screenshots two evenings ago, suggesting that the account was hacked by a mysterious “Mr. KadiKasi”. This digital intruder also inserted a dubious number foreign to Singapore on Cheo’s IG stories, urging the public to “Send me message Whatsapp”, and also altered the handle from @arissa.cheo to @arrisssa.cheo. Just what’s going on here?

While the hacker appears to still be actively posting on IG stories, it seems that Cheo has either deleted her personal account, @xarissaxcheox, or blocked people from it since the incident, taking these steps to protect herself and her family.
