Globally-renowned South Korean actor Song Joong-Ki, star of hit shows like Descendants of the Sun and Vincenzo, has just been announced as Louis Vuitton‘s newest house ambassador.
Song’s boyish good looks, charming personality and tenacity have secured his position as one of the greatest K-drama stars of our time. It comes as no surprise then when Louis Vuitton decided to tap him as their next ambassador, further cementing his status as a style icon.

He joins a select and sophisticated group of ambassadors, including K-pop stars J-Hope of BTS and Hyein from NewJeans, who embody the house’s values of craftsmanship, excellence and sophistication. As a newly-appointed ambassador, Song is also currently attending Cannes Film Festival to promote his new movie, Hopeless. He was spotted wearing a black wool single-breasted jacket and black Cigaret pants with a white shirt, finished off with black Chelsea boots.

At a press conference, Song shared his excitement and gratitude for being invited to the international festival for the new movie, saying “I am honoured and proud to be invited to the Cannes. Hopeless is a film that was made with pure passion and dedication from everyone involved.” He continued, “I’m excited to watch it with the international audience and I look forward to sharing our thoughts and feelings about the film.”
