The Swedish Royal Family Has Mastered the Art of the Color-Coordinated Holiday Photo
Even Kings and Queens make sure their families match
The Swedish royal family released a new portrait this week, along with well-wishes for a "happy summer" for their subjects. The photo, which has become something of an annual tradition for King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, is pretty stunning. But we can't help but be reminded of all those holiday cards that arrive about six months from now, which every member of the family is forced to wear jeans and a white t-shirt or matching blue button downs on the beach.
You know the ones.
The photo features all thirteen members of the Swedish royal family, including the King and Queen, and their children and grandchildren, decked out in a soft blue shade...that is except for Princess Madeline and Princess Sofia.
Clearly those two missed the memo, and if Queen Silvia is anything like your average color-coordination-obsessed grandmother, we're sure there'll be hell to pay.
