Taylor Swift And Matty Healy Have Reportedly Split
Reasons for the rumoured breakup remain unconfirmed, little over a month after the couple reportedly started dating
A whirlwind romance between Taylor Swift and Matty Healy which took the world by surprise has reportedly come to an end, with TMZ reporting the news from a “friend close to the situation”.

Offering more detail, a source told Entertainment Tonight that “Taylor and Matty broke up. They are both extremely busy and realised they’re not really compatible with each other. Taylor’s friends want what’s best for her and aren’t shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship.”
The news comes shortly after The 1975 frontman made headlines for kissing a male security guard during the group’s concert in Denmark over the weekend. This bit isn't totally unusual, considering the singer has made it a habit of kissing fans at his concerts. But maybe it was a subtle hint at his relationship status; back in January, Healy reportedly told fans he wouldn't do such a thing with Swift in the room after the pop star made a surprise appearance at the band’s London show. “I’m not kissing anybody in front of Taylor Swift. Have some respect. In front of the queen? It’s not happening.”

The couple was last seen together on May 25 according to TMZ, and Us Weekly last reported on May 29 that things were going well for the couple despite many Swift fans' concerns about Healy's controversial past. (Healy has come under fire for derogatory comments on The Adam Friedland Show podcast about rapper Ice Spice, who Swift recently collaborated with, among a litany of other things.)

But all in all, their relationship was far from smooth sailing; a source told Us Weekly last month that Swift was hesitant to get into another relationship "so soon" after her recent split from British actor Joe Alwyn. Another source had told Us Weekly back on April 20 that Swift was still “adjusting to the single life.”
