Thirst Trap Thursday: Prince Nikolai of Denmark

A breathtaking royalty on and off the runway

Prince Harry who? While the Duke of Sussex has been getting all the buzz around his royal baby, the Prince of Denmark has stolen all of our attention with his godsent looks straight out of a fairy tale.

Prince Nikolai of Denmark, a.k.a Nikolai William Alexander Frederik, was born in 28 August 1999 to Prince Joachim and his first wife, Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg. At 18 years old, he is seventh in the line of succession to the Danish throne (but first in line to our hearts).

We can’t deny that Prince Nikolai’s (exotic) elegance runs in his royal blood, but his diverse ancestry deserves some credit for sprinkling the extra ‘oompfh’ to his heavenly features. Nikolai has Asian roots and is actually of Chinese descent! His mother, the Countess of Frederiksborg was born in Hong Kong with roots in Guangdong, China.

Unsurprisingly, His Highness’ good looks have not gone unnoticed – having landed him multiple prestigious gigs after signing up with Scoop modelling agency in 2017. In fact, he walked along the likes of supermodel Cara Delevingne for Burberry in London Fashion Week last year and gave Kim’s Jones’s first Dior Men’s show the regal opening. We are guessing that Kim Jones must have been knighted by Prince Nikolai’s green eyes and dreamy features (like we were) that he even tapped Nikolai to be part of the first Dior Men’s Campaign. Now we know Dior is fit for royalty!

Not just another wealthy prince, Nikolai actually has his eyes set on his modelling career. He has put aside his military education (and the political prestige that comes with it) to pursue modelling. But no worries, our heartthrob still understands the importance of a good education and he will be attending university in the future.

Our prince’s pretty heart-wrenching face, alongside his soft luscious tresses has definitely earned him deserving of being the Prince Charming in our eyes and dreams. We can only hope the clock never strikes twelve.

P.S However, we have to painfully deliver the news that our Highness does not have an Instagram account.
