Vanessa Hudgens showed her support for the LGBTQ+ community during an event in Los Angeles.

The tick, tick… BOOM! actress took part in a press day ahead of the MTV Movie & TV Awards yesterday. At the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, she walked the red carpet in a black minidress, embellished with large rainbow-coloured sequins, and matching black strappy heels.

Hudgens is set to host the awards show—which takes place this Sunday—with former Bachelorette star Tayshia Adams handling the reality TV awards.

Hudgens shared various photos of her look on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Let the hosting duties begin 😉 Press day for @mtv movie and tv awards 💖 also HAPPY PRIDE MY LOVESSSSS 🏳️‍🌈💋.”

June is Pride Month, with Pride Day celebrated on June 28 in honor of the anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall riots and the march, which happened a year later and marked the first Gay Pride march in New York City.

Hudgens has long been a gay rights advocate and regularly shows her support on social media.

The actress recently spoke to BAZAAR.com about her fun, vibrant, Cali-girl style, which comes through on and off the red carpet. “Reintroducing bright colors into my wardrobe is something that I’ve personally fallen in love with this year. I was never a big fan of bright colors, and now I cannot get enough,” she said.

Hudgens channeled her craving for summer hues into a sporty collection for Fabletics, which dropped April 1 and includes activewear sets in fun colorful prints, a baby crop top, a string bikini, a soft pink bucket hat in terry, a halter babydoll dress, a sweet phone charm that resembles a candy necklace, and terry loungewear sets in hot pink and bright blue.
