The Prince and Princess of Wales are keeping calm and carrying on.

Prince William and Princess Kate made their first official appearance since the release of Prince Harry's explosive memoirSpare, yesterday, when they visited mental health and healthcare professionals in the English county of Merseyside.

During their visit, members of the press unsurprisingly inquired about the couple's reaction to Harry's book, in which he alleges some shocking revelations about his fraught relationships with members of the royal family, from William physically attacking Harry after a fight about Duchess Meghan to Kate making Meghan "sob" over a spat about flower girl dresses.

In a video tweeted by People foreign correspondent Simon Perry, an offscreen journalist can be heard shouting, "[Do you have any] comments on Harry's book, sir?" The Waleses, who were being escorted inside the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, ignored the question as they continued towards the entrance.

In another clip shared by ITV News, William and Kate were at an event at the Open Door Charity when a journalist who seemed to be within earshot of the couple asked repeatedly, "Have you had a chance to read your brother's book at all?" The two ignored the questions as they exited the building.

Though members of the royal family have yet to officially comment on Spare, palace insiders exclusively told BAZAAR.com that the family feels "rattled."

"There was a feeling that whatever Harry said in his book would just be news today, gone tomorrow," a source tells BAZAAR. "However, the level of detail given in the book about specific relationships with the media has put it all under the microscope now."

In particular, William is "devastated" by the book.

"He's not ignoring the things his brother has shared," another insider adds. "The dust needs to settle, but … this has been food for thought."
