The photos show the couple exploring Venetian canals on a romantic gondola boat ride straight out of a romantic film, against the scenic backdrop of the city. The photo agency claims that “the pair were joined by their beloved pet pooch who accompanied the couple as they got into the romantic spirit with a series of hugs and kisses, packing on the PDA together on their romantic Italian getaway.”

Despite the Spider-Man co-stars publicly displaying their affection, they have yet to walk the red carpet as a couple, keeping the details about their relationship status mostly private. Both have been vocal about maintaining this privacy.

In an interview with GQ, Holland said, “One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world.” In a phone interview with GQ, Zendaya echoed his sentiment, saying that “when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own”.
