Chanel has launched its own yacht club at Shelter Island in New York. The exclusive space was created in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Chanel’s iconic J12 watch, in a nod to the J-Class racing yachts that inspired the original design.
The pop-up space is located within André Balazs’ popular Sunset Beach hotel on Long Island. The real estate mogul also owns high-profile properties such as The Chiltern Firehouse in London, the Chateau Marmont in LA and The Standard hotel chain.
