Chanel is celebrating two of its greatest creative forces in its Mademoiselle Privé Exhibition this October. Held at London’s Saatchi Gallery, the exhibition will feature some of the best works by the label’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld, and of course, its founder and namesake, Coco Chanel.

The experience begins outside the gallery itself, in a garden inspired by Chanel herself, lavishly decorated in gold, oak and silver granite. As visitors enter the gallery, they are able to wander through various rooms that feature scenes from Chanel’s personal life, couture pieces designed by Lagerfeld, and see for themselves the numerous laboratory experiments that led to the creation of the iconic Chanel No. 5 scent. What’s more, in a melding of the two distinctive personalities, the gallery will also display portraits, shot by Lagerfeld, in Chanel’s apartment. This is one exhibition we just can’t wait to see.
