• Chrissy Teigen and John Legend appeared on One World: Together at Home to share a poem they'd received from a 7-year-old girl.

• The sweet poem celebrated healthcare workers who have been looking after people during the coronavirus pandemic.

• Legend also performed a duet with Sam Smith.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend joined a whole host of celebrities for the One World: Together at Home broadcast. Appearing together during the pre-show, Teigen and Legend paid their respects to doctors and nurses, and all frontline workers who are keeping communities going through the pandemic.

Teigen adorably read out a poem from a 7-year-old girl during the broadcast, which paid tribute to the amazing coronavirus relief efforts that have already been happening.

Teigen read, "Doctors and nurses are my heroes. They help everyone when you're sick, and when you're hurt. Doctors and nurses will always help. They're kind and gentle, they're always brave. I'm so glad doctors and nurses are around."

Global Citizen's Twitter account shared the sweet moment and wrote, "To all the frontline health workers across the world risking their lives every single day to protect the lives of others—we cannot thank you enough." The post continued, "The poem @ChrissyTeigen just read from a 7-year-old girl in Colombia said it better than we could #TogetherAtHome @JohnLegend."

During the event, Legend also did a duet with Sam Smith. The famous pair covered the class, "Stand By Me," from their respective homes.
