We knew that Ed Sheeran would be making an appearance in the new season of Game of Thrones. What we didn't know was that it would happen right in the first episode. We heard Sheeran before we saw him; the singer played a red-cloaked Lannister soldier singing by the side of the road, seated with some other armored fellows around a campfire. To be honest, the song was pretty good. The refrain was very lads-at-war: "Hands of gold are always cold / but a woman's hands are warm." So, pretty much the Westeros version of "Put that body on me." Arya seemed to like it, which is good since Maisie Williams is a big Sheeran fan in real life.
