Since it’s been confirmed that a Sex and the City revival is in the works at HBO Max, rumours regarding the show’s casting and plot lines have been swirling.

It’s already been revealed that Kim Cattrall, famous for her portrayal of Samantha Jones, won’t be returning, despite appearing in the original series from 1998 to 2004, and in both Sex and the City movies (2008, 2010). However, one former star is ready to reprise her role, should there be a place for her in the revival.

In a new interview with Entertainment TonightJennifer Hudson, who played Carrie Bradshaw‘s assistant in the first Sex and the City movie, expressed her interest in returning to the role. When the interviewer asked if Louise from St. Louis might be back, Hudson replied, “I hope so! That would be cool. I’m down.”

Deadline confirmed the news that Sex and the City‘s 10-episode limited series would be titled And Just Like That…, with stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis set to executive produce alongside Michael Patrick King. Per Deadline, “The revival will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. It is scheduled to begin production in New York late spring.”

Parker shared a video teaser for the show on Instagram and wrote, “I couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now?”
