Valentino goes beyond fashion yet again to reaffirm its dedication to arts and culture through the second instalment of its narrative campaign – Valentino the Narratives II.
Following their first edition in 2021, the Maison continues to support several independent bookstores in the United States.

The brand has also renewed its collaboration with Belletrist bookclub – founded by actress Emma Roberts – to promote an open dialogue with members and the literary community.
With the theme of love at its core, 17 writers and poets have been invited by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli to create vibrant layouts that revolve solely on the words of these authors.

The star-studded lineup includes American comedian David Sedaris, model Emily Ratajkowski, screenwriter Michael Cunningham and internationally best-selling author Meiko Kawakami.

This isn’t the first time the Maison is roping in celebrity authors – renowned poet Rupi Kaur performed live at the Valentino TKY Show in 2018 and the 2019 Valentino On Love show included poems from Mustafa The Poet, Robert Montgomery and Yrsa Daley Ward.
Although fashion is reliant on the visual element to draw our attention, it is refreshing to witness how a fashion house capitalises on the power of literature to communicate. This goes to show that print is far from being dead.
