Mark your calendars between 20 and 29 October 2017, because da:ns festival is here again. Another reason for performing arts buffs to be excited about the festival this year because it will be featuring performances by LA Dance Project, making it the internationally acclaimed dance troupe’s inaugural performance in Singapore.

Founded by noted French choreographer and dancer Benjamin Millepied – the brains behind award-winning ballet film Black Swan’s choreography – the dance group will be putting up a set of four compelling dance performances, including Heart & Arrows that was commissioned by French fine jewellery brand Van Cleef & Arpels.

Imagine graceful dance moves and touching music that include pieces by influential composer Philip Glass when the dancers come to perform at Theatres on the Bay at The Esplanade on the 24th and 25th October 2017. Besides this much anticipated spectacle, other impressive performances include South African choreographer Dada Masilo's rendition of the classic Swan Lake, Bosque Adora by award-winning Spanish choreographer Rocío Molina, and Macho Dancer – a provocative act from the Philippnes choreographed by noted choreographer Eisa Jocson.
