Your Favourite Christmas Movie, 'Home Alone' Just Got An Update

Christmas came early for Home Alone fans, because Macaulay Culkin just reprised his role as Kevin McCallister in a new Google Home ad. And let me just say, it's everything we '90s kids have ever wanted. Check it out:

I'm just going to say it: This is the best commercial of the decade. Not only did Google nail the details, from Kevin's pajamas to the decor in the McCallister house, but they also gave us a look at just how different the iconic holiday movie would be in 2018.

For starters, Kevin can have Google Home check his calendar, order him new aftershave (no more unsupervised trips to the supermarket), and set reminders to clean the house. On top of that, other smart home gadgets like a Nest doorbell, August Smart Lock, and Roomba do most of the heavy lifting when Kevin has to protect his house from the Wet Bandits. I mean, if that doesn't sell you on buying a Google Home for yourself, I don't know what will.

If we're not getting a Home Alone reunion movie, this is the next best thing. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch my new favorite commercial 57 more times. Oh, and Merry Christmas, you filthy animals.
