Congratulations to David Beckham, who has been named as People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2015.
The news was revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (November 17) when Kimmel played a guessing game with the crowd, with the studio audience asking Beckham a series of yes or no questions.
After determining that this year’s Sexiest Man Alive wasn’t an actor, has “one or two tattoos” and once sported a man bun, the audience finally correctly guessed Beckham’s identity.
Speaking of his award via Skype, Beckham joked that receiving it was “the best moment of [his] career”.
He went on to thank his parents, his hairdresser, his stylist and PhotoShop, before sending a message those who didn’t make the cut: “Maybe next year.”
Chris Hemsworth won the award back in 2014.
