While the status of Gigi Hadid's relationship with Zayn Malik has yet to be clarified by the supermodel herself, her rumored beau's latest post on social media seems to say a lot about the are-they-or-aren't-they couple.

Ah yes, Zigi appears to be Instagram official now—a very important step in any millennial's love story.

Although the pair's first-ever selfie somewhat confirms there is indeed something going on between these two, their much speculated romance has been met with conflicting theories. One minute, they were "definitely"dating—according to Us Weekly—and the next, they were "just friends" and "casually hanging out" by E! Online's account.

Even Hadid's own mother, Yolanda Foster, had a hard time explaining her daughter's hand-holding with the former One Direction star. "I haven't met [Zayn] yet," she admitted to Peopleearlier this month. "So I can't say anything about him."

But after posting a moody, black-and-white filtered Insta, things might be serious enough for Mr. Malik to finally meet mom, no?
