Last week, Apple announced the launch of the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, which are set to go on sale tomorrow (Friday 20 September) in Singapore. But before you queue up overnight to get your hands on one, here’s what you need to know.

Screen sizes and display
The iPhone 11 features a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD Display and has wide colour support and True Tone for a natural viewing experience. The iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch OLED Super Retina XDR Display, while the Max has a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display.

Colours and design
The iPhone 11 will come in purple, green, yellow, white, black, and (PRODUCT)Red and has a back design that is precision milled and sculpted from a single piece of glass, which is also said to be the toughest glass yet. The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max are available in midnight green, space grey, silver, and gold and has a textured matte glass back and polished stainless steel band. All models feature an IP68 water resistance rating for two meters for up to 30 minutes.

Camera
The iPhone 11 will come with a new dual lens system. It includes new sensors and a new ultra-wide angle lens that provides a 120-degree field of view. The Ultra Wide camera fundamentally changes the photography experience by capturing four times more scene, and is great for taking landscape or architecture photos, tight shots and more.

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max both feature a new triple-camera system which provides a pro-level camera experience with an Ultra Wide, Wide and Telephoto camera, delivering huge improvements to low-light photography and offering the highest quality video in a smartphone that is great for shooting action videos.

However, one of the most exciting updates is the impressive Night Mode, which features on all three models and turns on automatically, so there’s no need to manually switch modes.
