FKA twigs, new EP, M3LL155X
Today, FKA twigs released her new EP, M3LL155X, which includes four songs—"Figure 8," "I'm Your Doll," "In Time," and "Glass & Patron"—that get the music video treatment, or, more accurately, the mini-movie treatment. The singer directed the four videos, which come together to create one short, "cementing who she is as an artist with an aggressive statement conceptualizing the process of feeling pregnant with pain, birthing creativity and liberation," according to a press release.
In true FKA twigs fashion, the piece (which also stars Rick Owens muse Michèle Lamy) is in-your-face, avant-garde, and quite confusing.
