It's been slightly over a fortnight since the much-buzzed-about Omotesando Koffee opened its first outlet in Singapore, but the craze over their drinks is still going strong. Braving the queue on opening day (it was a wait of over an hour to get our drinks!), we managed to be one of the first few to try their freshly brewed beverages, and we can safely say: It was worth it.

Here, we give our rundown of the drinks you have to try at the standalone store, and to make it more convenient, we're giving the drinks ratings out of ☕☕☕☕☕

Iced Cappuccino (single shot: $7.50, double shot: $8.50)

Almost everyone who has been to the Omotesando Koffee store will recommend this smooth, silky cuppa that is more dessert than drink, and we agree! And the one here does not disappoint either: Large, airy bubbles coated with cocoa, velvety smooth coffee and the rich creaminess from the milk blend perfectly for one satisfying sip.

Iced Cafe Mocha ($6.80)

The other must-have for fans is the iced cafe mocha. Unlike other versions of the drink, Omotesando Koffee's mocha is prepared with a thoughtfulness that shows their passion for crafting good coffee. The inside of the cups come pre-drizzled with chocolate sauce along the sides so that when the coffee is poured in, it is mixed in perfectly. However, we wish it were less sweet.

Iced Matcha Cappuccino ($7.50)

Matcha lovers, there's something here for you too. You can pick from either a matcha latte or a matcha cappuccino, although our money's on the latter. It comes with the cafe's oversized cappuccino bubbles but is dusted with matcha powder instead of cocoa, but the smooth, milky green tea is perfection. Pro tip: Ask them to add the sugar for you (if you want), or else just drink it unsweetened.

Cafe Latte Doppio (regular: $5.50, large: $7.50)

The "hot koffee" selection is equally extensive: From hand drip coffees customised to your preference to espresso macchiatos and matcha lattes, you will be spoilt for choice. Brewed using their in-house beans, our steaming hot cuppa was smooth and robust. Pro tip: Order a doppio (double shot) to balance out the milkiness.
