The first official pictures of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas‘ wedding day have been released – and the bride looks as beautiful as you’d expect. The actress took to Instagram to share the first image from her South of France wedding, showing the couple laughing and smiling as they walked down the aisle together.
While we’d had a glimpse at her wedding dress before, this is the first time we’ve been able to marvel at the detail in the Louis Vuitton design, which featured a V-neckline, square shoulders and long lace sleeves, with a wide sash belt, culminating in a voluminous embellished skirt. It was created from flower-embroidered tulle and silk gazar with leather satin details.
She paired the gown with a classic veil and wore her hair in loose, centre-parted waves.

The 23-year-old captioned the happy image: “Mr and Mrs Jonas”. The groom wore a black Berluti suit with matching black shirt.
The bride’s beautiful gown was custom-made by Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquière. Turner (or Jonas, as she might now be known), is an ambassador for the French fashion house.
The designer also took to Instagram to share a picture from the dress fitting, allowing us to see that the dress had an elegant open back. He captioned the image: “Absolut beauty”.
Turner and Jonas’ spectacular South of France wedding took place at Le Chateau de Tourreau, a 17th century stately home nestled in 20 acres of impressive grounds. It was the couple’s second wedding; their legal ceremony actually took place in Las Vegas back in May.
The bride and groom hosted several events in the run-up to the ceremony, including a boat party on the Seine in Paris, and a white party the night before the big day – where all the guests were instructed to wear white apart from Turner, who sported a red jumpsuit.

The actress was also seen wearing an elegant fitted Cushnie dress for the rehearsal dinner.
Guests at the wedding included the groom’s brother, Nick Jonas, and his wife, Priyanka Chopra. Turner’s Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams was Maid of Honour, and model Ashley Graham was also in attendance.
The wedding had a social media ban, with guests asked not to share any pictures. American DJ Diplo said that he’d had his phone taken away from him and “put in a holding cell” after he live-streamed their Vegas nuptials on Instagram.
