Gigi Hadid is proving her style prowess with an unexpected piece.
While attending the New York City launch event for her new Frankies Bikinis collection, Hadid pulled a swimsuit from the line—the Fawn Ruffle One Piece Swimsuit—for her party fit. The bathing suit includes a classic blue-and-white toile de Jouy print, as well as a ruffle trim on the bust and straps. The model paired the suit with a white collared crop top and a pair of low-slung cream trousers that sat low on her hips, giving the illusion of hip cutouts.
For shoes, Hadid opted for kitten-heel slingback pumps from By Far. Other accessories included a vibrant blue Louis Vuitton clutch, layers of gold necklaces, and a pair of gold hoop earrings.

For the line, Hadid and Francesca Aiello, the founder and creative director of Frankies Bikinis, sought style inspiration from both of their childhood memories of growing up near Malibu beaches, as well as Hadid’s current lifestyle on her Pennsylvania family farm.
“The opportunity to work with Gigi on this collection has been a dream come true,” Aiello told BAZAAR.com last month. “We grew up spending our days at the beach in bikinis, so to be able to now design a collection of swimwear and loungewear—something that we grew up living in—together is really a full circle moment for the both of us.”
