Beloved bridal designer Vera Wang was enlisted to bring Gwen Stefani‘s two glamorous wedding dresses to life for her Fourth of July weekend nuptials to country music star Blake Shelton.
The gowns incorporated the designer’s elegant bridal flair and Stefani’s edgy rock star-inspired style. For her walk down the aisle in Oklahoma, the singer wore a white silk georgette gown complete with a plunging sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice, and asymmetric tulle skirt. Her chapel-length, flowing veil was embroidered with her name, as well as those of Blake and her sons— Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo Rossdale—People reported.
For her reception look, Stefani opted for a shorter hemline, sporting a strapless minidress complete with a ruffled tulle skirt, a shorter mesh veil, and cowgirl-inspired white stiletto boots by Le Silla. She accessorized her look with gold bangle bracelets, a yellow gold, diamond embellished, cross-shaped necklace by VRAI designed in collaboration with Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, and shimmering earrings.
“You need a party dress when u get to marry @blakeshelton @verawang gx,” the singer wrote alongside a snapshot of her second dress.
Wang took to Instagram to share additional images of Stefani and Shelton’s nuptials, including a photo of the pair during their first dance.
“Modern minimalist construction. Major LOVE BOMBING. 🔥💥⚡️ XXV,” Wang wrote alongside a black-and-white image of the newlyweds.
