Hailee Steinfeld has made it official: The bandage dress is back.

Steinfeld was photographed outside the Herve Leger x Law Roach Collection launch party in Hollywood last night. She wore a white midi-length dress with an asymmetrical mesh overlay from the collection, coined as the Haylie dress. The dress additionally featured mesh cutouts and a deep sweetheart neckline.

Her hair was sleek, pulled behind her ears; her makeup was also minimal, with the exception of a deep pink lip. To finish the look, she wore ivory pumps and accessorised with large gold hoops and neon pink nails.

Other celebrities in attendance included model Chantel Jeffries and actress Garcelle Beauvais.

A (mostly) monochromatic look is not out of the ordinary for the Pitch Perfect star. Seen at an American Express event in May, Steinfeld wore a satin copper-toned ensemble. And at a Heineken party in Miami that same month, she had a girly moment in a pink The Andamane set with Stella McCartney sneakers to match.

In an interview with Harper’s BAZAAR UK last year, Steinfeld opened up about missing red-carpet fashion amid the pandemic.

“Oh my goodness, I absolutely miss the interaction and the process of getting ready,” she said, adding that she “lived in sweats and hoodies [during the pandemic, but] I feel like I have been relaxed and comfortable for too long now!” Judging from her major fashion statement at yesterday’s party, it seems Steinfeld isn’t stuck in sweats anymore.

Steinfeld has stayed busy for the past year working on various Marvel projects. She starred as Kate Bishop in the Disney+ series Hawkeye and will soon be heard voicing Gwen Stacy in the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
