Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin Bieber‘s episode of Carpool Karaoke premiered today on Apple TV, and—surprise!—it includes a guest appearance from Miley Cyrus. The pop star joined in on the model duo’s musical car ride for a backseat performance of her 2009 hit, “Party in the U.S.A.” but she also reflected on her younger years with Bieber.
“Dude, my inner 15-year-old is freaking out,” Kendall said after the singalong. “Same,” Miley replied, before she and Hailey took a quick trip down memory lane.
“I’ve known you since you were 11,” Hailey told the pop star, but they didn’t have the smoothest relationship at first. Miley was friends with Hailey’s sister Alaia, and in classic big sister fashion, they used to pick on the younger sibling.
“I would be evil to her,” Miley said of Hailey. “She would try to play with us, like me and Alaia, and we would lock her out of the room.”
“My older sister and her used to gang up on me,” Hailey chimed in.
“I had to. It made you who you are, you know?” Miley joked. “It made you stronger. Now you can always take like trolls and sh*t. ‘Cause I was such a troll.”
“Miley was the biggest troll to me. She prepared me for this industry!” Hailey quipped.

Kendall even remembered hearing stories of Hailey and Miley’s childhood. “You’d be like, ‘Alaia and Miley would gang up on me!'” Jenner said.
“I needed little sisters to pick on to make me feel like a regular kid,” Miley added later on.
“Exactly,” Hailey agreed. “And that was me.”
Miley even spent Christmas Eve at the Baldwin household once. She reminisced about Hailey’s parents taking care of her and encouraging her to eat healthy food. (Kendall concurred that Hailey’s mom does this to her too.)
“I hadn’t even had broccoli until I was 18,” Miley remembered. “And I went to your house and your mom made me eat healthy and I was like, I literally think I snuck a biscuit upstairs because I had to.”
“Good memories,” Hailey reminisced.

After the brief dose of nostalgia, the the trio closed the show with Miley’s new single, “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.” Other songs Kendall and Hailey sang in the video included “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” by Panic! at the Disco and “Lean on Me” by Bill Withers.
