Iman Gives A Touching Tribute To David Bowie On Instagram

​The supermodel reminisced about her husband’s legendary career in the days leading up to his death

In the days before her husband David Bowie’s passing, supermodel Iman looked back at some of the most iconic moments from his career on Instagram. Many are reposts from other celebrities, such as Christy Turlington and Zoe Saldana, paying tribute to the rock star on his 69th birthday, which was just three days ago. Others are supportive re-grams from Bowie himself, promoting his latest album, which released on January 8.

The photos speak for themselves, featuring moments ranging from the days of Ziggy Stardust to Blackstar. But Iman’s latest post, made yesterday, is a moving quote that hauntingly alludes to faith through mourning and hardship: “The struggle is real, but so is God.”
