James Corden Confirms Plans For Carpool Karaoke Spinoff

James Corden has confirmed that there are plans for a Carpool Karaoke spinoff show.

Speaking to Radio Times, the Late Late Show host was asked about dream guests for his incredibly popular sing-along segment.

"It would be fantastic to get Beyoncé, Bruno Mars or Kanye West to appear, but they're busy people," he said.

However, Corden then revealed: "But there are plans to make a Carpool Karaoke spinoff."

Rumors over a spinoff have been circulating in recent months, though Corden is apparently only expected to produce and make occasional appearances, in the same way Jimmy Fallon has done with Lip Sync Battle.

In the same interview, Corden was asked about getting Donald Trump on Carpool Karaoke, answering: "I don't believe he sings, but we've asked him to be a guest on the main show without success several times.

"It's a difficult show for politicians because we bring all the guests out at the same time—so for them, it's a much less controllable atmosphere."

When asked about the terrifying prospect of the title "President Donald Trump", the host said: "I still think there's a long way to go, so let's cross that bridge when we come to it."
