Jennifer Lawrence made a rare red-carpet appearance in the most sophisticated spring ensemble.
She joined fellow actors at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last night, and for the occasion chose a chic little black dress from Versace‘s fall 2023 collection. The sleeveless mini featured a bulbous skirt and structured high shoulders. She paired the piece with the prettiest baby pink satin heels with the fashion house’s Medusa bows at the top, sheer black tights, and a dramatic choker necklace made of flower-shaped diamond clusters, also from Versace.
The full look was debuted at the brand’s Los Angeles runway show this March.
Lawrence wore her hair down in relaxed waves for the evening out, and further elevated her look with a bronzy smoky eye and a berry lip.
The actress walked the red carpet at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, where she presented her new film, No Hard Feelings. Lawrence produced and stars in the comedy—directed by Gene Stupnitsky—alongside Andrew Barth Feldman. It premieres onJune 23.
CinemaCon is an annual convention held in Las Vegas that brings together members of the film industry to celebrate movie theaters, their owners and staff, the stars on the screen, and more. This year’s event began Monday, April 24, and ends Thursday, April 27. Last night was the star-studded opening night dinner reception and party.
Lawrence’s appearance at the event comes as the actress has stepped back from the spotlight in an effort to spend more time at home with her husband, Cooke Maroney, and their son, Cy. In an interview last year, she opened up about her new life as a mom. “I mean the euphoria of Cy is just—Jesus, it’s impossible,” she said. “I always tell him, I love you so much it’s impossible.“
