Jelena-shippers need to take a deep breath, because it looks like Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin just got a whole lot more serious.
TMZ is reporting that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are engaged. According to the site, eyewitnesses claim they saw Bieber propose to Baldwin while at a resort in the Bahamas on Saturday night.
Per TMZ, apparently, “everyone was at a restaurant on the property doing salsa dancing when Justin’s security told everyone to put their phones away, because something special was about to happen. They say Justin then proposed in front of everyone.”
Videos had already surfaced of Bieber and Baldwin exhibiting some PDA while on vacation, confirming that they are, in fact, in the Bahamas right now:

To make matters even stranger, Justin’s dad appeared to hint at the news on Instagram, by posting an extremely cryptic tribute to his son:
In the post, Jeremy Bieber wrote, “@justinbieber Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!” Could that next chapter be… marriage?

Since Baldwin and Bieber started dating again a few weeks back, they’ve regularly been spotted kissing in public, and their PDA has included a hot tub hangout in Washington. Just a few days ago they were stranded in the Hamptons when their car broke down, but it seems as though they’ve well and truly recovered from that misfortune.

Since they started hanging out again, Baldwin has made several appearances on Bieber’s Instagram, and it’s pretty clear that the relationship isn’t much of a secret. According to Entertainment Tonight, they “connect deeply over their faith and relationship with God,” and if the new reports are to be believed, then congratulations are in order.
