Kaia Gerber has been cast in the next season of American Horror Story, show creator Ryan Murphy announced on Instagram. This marks the biggest screen role yet for the 19-year-old model, who is the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.
“Very excited to announce that Kaia Gerber is joining the American Horror Story family,” Murphy shared.

Details of Gerber’s role have not yet been revealed, but she joins a star-studded cast of Murphy favorites including Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, and Finn Wittrock, according to Deadline.
Titled American Horror Story: Double Feature, the upcoming 10th season of the franchise will focus on two storylines, “one by the sea” and “one by the sand,” Murphy revealed in a video last week. His eerie, long-running series was just renewed for three more seasons, extending to Season 13, in January 2020.

Gerber made her acting debut with Lifetime’s Sister Cities in 2016. At the time, she disclosed that she’s open to balancing her careers on the runway and on the screen. “I’m focusing a lot on modelling right now … but I’m not closing any doors to anything,” she told E! News.
She even got some helpful acting tips from her mom, who also had a fair share of acting roles. “She told me more about being on time, being professional, but I think it just comes down to your own instincts,” Gerber added.
In the past year, the model has launched a virtual book club for the quarantine era, featuring various works and interviewing authors on Instagram.
