Kate Middleton and Prince William visited Dundee, Scotland without their children today, but that didn't stop the Duchess of Cambridge from sharing a sweet update about her youngest son, Prince Louis, with well-wishers.

While greeting the crowd outside the Victoria and Albert museum, Kate told one woman that Louis, now nine months old, is "already a fast crawler," according to royal photographer Mark Stewart.

Stewart told People that Kate also mentioned her older two children, 5-year-old Prince George and 3-year-old Princess Charlotte. "She told another woman that she hopes to bring her children here,” he said, referencing Scotland's V&A.

Kate, who studied art history in college, became the first royal patron of the V&A last March, and helped open the London museum's photography center in October.

"The Duchess' personal interest in photography, textiles and the visual arts, alongside her support for the role of art in supporting mental health and nurturing young people's creative talent, fits naturally with the collections and civic purpose of the V&A," the museum's director Tristram Hunt said when Kate's patronage was revealed.

Prince Louis has stayed out of the public eye since he was born in April and christened the following summer, but Kate has happily dropped some tidbits about her youngest child during her frequent engagements. In December, she told a fan in Cyprus that Louis was already practicing his royal wave, and in November, she told a well-wisher in Leicester that her baby boy was growing up fast.

"Louis' getting bigger, I can't believe he's like seven months, he's getting to be a big boy," the proud mom said at the time. We can't wait to see Louis out and about with his royal siblings again.
