• Evelina London Children's Hospital took to social media to share a letter written by the Duchess of Cambridge, honoring its efforts in combatting COVID-19.

• "It is heartening to know you are still very much open for business and continuing to provide expert care to sick children despite the challenging circumstances," wrote Kate in her letter.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, is sending her gratitude to those working on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis.

In a newly released letter from Evelina London Children's Hospital, one of the duchess's many youth-centered patronages, Kate expressed her thanks to the hospital's emergency workers who are currently taking on adult patients due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 across Britain.

"I am writing to let you know how much I am thinking of all the team at Evelina London Children's Hospital during this hugely difficult time," began the duchess. "It is heartening to know you are still very much open for business and continuing to provide expert care to sick children despite the challenging circumstances. You are all truly inspirational and I know how much you will be there for these families, as you always have been."

Kate went on to address the heavy onslaught of patients the hospital staffers are taking on and wanted to assure that their tireless work isn't going unnoticed.

"You are now facing the additional pressure of caring for adult COVID-19 patients, but it is a testament of your support and commitment to your patients that you are all pulling together to ensure they will have the best possible care," continued Kate. "Whether working on the frontline, or behind the scenes, you will be having to juggle these pressures and manage both your professional and personal lives. Please look after yourself and each other and know the whole country is behind you."

The duchess, along with many other members of the royal family, are rallying together to show their support for those working to combat the global pandemic. In addition to her open letter, Kate has also video-called caretakers for the children of first responders and visited the London Ambulance Service to meet and speak with staff.
