Kate Moss Celebrated Her 42nd Birthday With A Tribute To David Bowie

After rock icon David Bowie passed away just days before her 42nd birthday, Kate Moss knew exactly how to pay tribute to her friend. On Saturday night, the supermodel hosted a private, Bowie-themed birthday party at her home in the Cotswolds. A source told Daily Mail, "Kate was devastated to hear about David's death. So guests will channel their inner Bowie and '80s attire. She wants the party to be a celebration of his life as well as hers. It's going to be wild." Boy George performed at the fête, tweeting about the "lovely night" the following morning:

Photographer Mert Alas was on hand to snap photos, sharing images of Moss getting ready for the evening. The supermodel wore a vintage black-and-silver sequined Pam Hogg bodysuit for the night.

Last week, Moss was spotted wearing a David Bowie t-shirt in London several days after his death. In February of 2014, she donned his iconic 1972 'Woodland Creatures' Ziggy Stardust playsuit to accept a Brit Award on his behalf.
