After rock icon David Bowie passed away just days before her 42nd birthday, Kate Moss knew exactly how to pay tribute to her friend. On Saturday night, the supermodel hosted a private, Bowie-themed birthday party at her home in the Cotswolds. A source told Daily Mail, “Kate was devastated to hear about David’s death. So guests will channel their inner Bowie and ’80s attire. She wants the party to be a celebration of his life as well as hers. It’s going to be wild.” Boy George performed at the fête, tweeting about the “lovely night” the following morning:
Had a lovely night in the Cotswolds celebrating Kate Moss's birthday and dancing to classic Bowie. In fact her birthday was a Bowie tribute!

Photographer Mert Alas was on hand to snap photos, sharing images of Moss getting ready for the evening. The supermodel wore a vintage black-and-silver sequined Pam Hogg bodysuit for the night.
Last week, Moss was spotted wearing a David Bowie t-shirt in London several days after his death. In February of 2014, she donned his iconic 1972 ‘Woodland Creatures’ Ziggy Stardust playsuit to accept a Brit Award on his behalf.
