One of fashion’s most stylish mother-daughter duos just made a glamorous return to the Met Gala carpet.
Kate Moss and daughter Lila Grace Moss made their second appearance together on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2023 Met Gala. For the event, celebrating the legacy of German designer Karl Lagerfeld and an upcoming Costume Institute exhibit honoring his work, Kate and Lila coordinated in pink Fendi looks—one of the several houses where Lagerfeld had designed over the course of his career.

While both women wore Fendi by Kim Jones, the pair opted to limit their coordination to their color palette. Kate and Lila Grace Moss both wore blush pink tones, a popular shade for the event. Kate chose a sinuous slip dress trimmed in lace and topped with sheer pink sleeves that draped to the floor. Lila, meanwhile, embraced texture with a pink faux fur dress, offset by a sheer panel in the center. Mother and daughter did work in another semi-matching moment with pairs of silver heels.

This year’s demure dresses were a dramatic shift from duo’s “Gilded Glamour” looks last year. For the 2022 Met Gala, Kate wore an off-the-shoulder suit dress in sumptuous velvet, while Lila appeared in a naked dress with crystal embellishments.
