According to Kate Winslet, it's finally Leonardo DiCaprio's year to win the Oscar: "I think you can sort of feel it, and I think that everyone wants it for him," Winslet told BBC News at the London Critics Circle Film Awards on Sunday, Us Weekly reports. "It would be amazing." Winslet and DiCaprio are old friends, having starred in 1997's Titanic and 2003's Revolutionary Road together. DiCaprio is nominated for Best Actor for his role in Alejandro González Iñárritu's The Revenant.

But Winslet, who is nominated for Supporting Actress for her role as Joanna Hoffman in Steve Jobs, says it will be tough to root against her Jobs co-star Michael Fassbender, who is nominated in the same category as DiCaprio for his performance as the brilliant Apple co-founder. "It's slightly difficult for me too, because Michael Fassbender has been nominated, and I was his right-hand woman for three months while we were making Steve Jobs and I saw how hard he worked," said Winslet. "I think his performance is so extraordinary. But I think yeah, you can sort of feel the temperature. It's probably going to be Leo's year."
