Khloé Kardashian Shares Never-Before-Seen Footage Of The Birth Of Her Son With Tristan Thompson
"Now that my son is here, I get to move on, and I get to enjoy," she said on the season 2 premiere of The Kardashians.
Season 2 of The Kardashians has officially introduced a new family member into the mix.
Last night's premiere of the Hulu reality TV series shared an inside glimpse at the birth of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's second child together, a baby boy, who was born a few months after news of Thompson's paternity scandal broke out. The former couple already share a daughter, four-year-old True Thompson.
In an emotional video captured by Kim Kardashian at Los Angeles's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where the surrogate would be delivering the baby, Kardashian told her older sister that she was "not ready" to have another child yet, per People. But, Kim reassured her, saying, "You're never ready, but you're ready."
When her baby boy was born, Kim could be heard saying in the video, "He looks just like True!"

In a confessional interview, Khloé reflected on the new addition to their lives.
"I am so grateful. It's such a beautiful gift that we're able to have," she said, per People. "Ever since December, it's been this dark cloud looming over me. Every single day, I've been feeling depressed and sad, and now that my son is here, I get to move on, and I get to enjoy. It's almost like I get to close that chapter and be done with this trauma and put it behind me."
She further elaborated on how she plans to put the drama with her ex behind her. "Now I finally get to start the healing process. Now I get to start enjoying my life with two kids in it and figuring this out," she continued. "This is gonna be day one, and this is gonna be the start of something positive, and happy and beautiful."

Earlier this year, reports revealed that the NBA star had fathered a child with personal trainer, Maralee Nichols, with whom he had an affair while he was still romantically involved with Kardashian following several other infidelity scandals.
After the birth of their son, Kardashian allowed Thompson to come to the hospital to meet his new son, at the encouragement of Kim. The Good American founder said of sharing the moment with her ex, "I've been on the fence about letting Tristan come to the hospital or not, but Tristan wants to be here so I just figured, why not let him come? I'll never get this moment back."
