Update, 19/2: Kanye West has reacted to sister-in-law Kylie Jenner’s news that she’s fronting Puma’s spring campaign in a decidedly un-Kanye-like fashion. TMZ spotted West at LAX on Wednesday and asked his thoughts on the situation, to which he calmly responded, “She already signed. And I was mad for a little bit. I’m really happy for her, though.” So, is that the end of it? Probably not. Stay tuned.
Original post, 18/2: One of Kanye West‘s many Twitter tirades of late focused on the rumor that his sister-in-law, Kylie Jenner, would be collaborating with Puma. This didn’t fly with West, who designs his Yeezy line with Adidas:
But Puma just confirmed Jenner is, indeed, working with the brand—in fact, she’s starring in its Spring 2016 campaign. “I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that Puma is indeed working with Kylie Jenner,” Adam Petrick, global director of brand and marketing at Puma, announced in a statement today. “Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for Puma.”
Jenner’s Puma campaign launches in April, but we’ll probably hear Kanye’s opinion on the matter before that.
