What happens when the world of fine art collides with the world of luxury skincare? The recent Art Basel in Switzerland saw the two universes come together when luxury beauty label La Prairie partnered the revered art fair in a first-ever collaboration, showcasing five specially commissioned artworks across different mediums to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its iconic Skin Caviar.

The brand continues to push the boundaries of beauty through an artistic lens with the launch of its latest short film — a 120-second cinematic motion picture that transports the viewer to the breathtaking Swiss Alps, the birthplace of La Prairie. Panoramic shots of snow-capped peaks and glistening waters are interspersed with zoom-ins of artist sketches of cells and close-ups of precious caviar beads, to further illustrate the artistic state of mind behind every La Prairie creation. This, soundtracked by an original composition by award-winning poet Ladan Osman, to echo the timeless, innovative spirit.
