When someone told Lady Gaga to dress for the premiere of A Star Is Born, she took it literally. The singer-turned-actress rolled up to the red carpet in LA looking like an actual celestial being, dripping in silver in this Givenchy Haute Couture gown. The look was a custom design by creative director Clare Waight Keller.

The number featured a layer of metallic lace draped over a strapless slip, with a scalloped cape that fell over Gaga’s arms and trailed onto the floor behind her. Mother Monster wore platform heels to keep the front hem of her dress from touching the ground, but her train dragged gloriously on the carpet.
And if that wasn’t enough wattage, she also accessorized with a 100-carat diamond necklace and a 20-carat pair of diamond earrings, both from Bulgari.

Gaga looked like a true Old Hollywood siren with her platinum lob styled in sleek, glamorous waves, with a bright red lip to top it all off. And can we talk about those nails!
This is just the latest in a series of jaw-dropping looks from Gaga’s A Star Is Born press tour. Most recently, she rocked this velvety Armani Privé gown, which she dramatically accessorized with a gorgeous veil.
Before that, she stole the show at the Venice Film Festival in a frothy pink Valentino Couture gown.

And let’s not forget her perfectly extra boat ride entrance into the festival to begin with. Sure, her LBD was simpler than her red carpet couture wardrobe, but her attitude was everything.
A Star Is Born releases 5 October. (We may or may not be planning to wear an outfit as extra as Gaga’s to our local movie theater.)
