Liam Hemsworth is moving on, and his future doesn’t seem to include Miley Cyrus, like, at all.
According to a new report in Us Weekly, Hemsworth has been less than impressed with his ex-wife since the former couple’s split was revealed in August 2019. A source reportedly told the publication, “Liam kind of has a low opinion of Miley at this point… He was really hurt by their split.”
And that’s not all. It would seem that Hemsworth and Cyrus aren’t really on speaking terms following their split, either. Per the source, “Miley and Liam haven’t talked much since their divorce. Liam was hurt by Miley moving on with new love interests shortly after they broke up.” In August 2019, Cyrus was photographed kissing Kaitlynn Carter, and subsequently started dating Cody Simpson. While Cyrus is currently single, Hemsworth has been dating Australian model Gabriella Brooks for several months.

Us Weekly‘s source also explained, “Liam has been trying to be as private as possible and respectful about their relationship and breakup, and it’s a shame to him and his family that certain aspects about his and Miley’s relationship have been made public. He’s a very traditional and good guy and was very hurt by the way specific instances played out in front of the world.”
Just this week, Cyrus discussed her split from Hemsworth during an interview on Barstool Sports’ Call Her Daddy podcast. The “Midnight Sky” singer said of the devastating split, “I had a very public, very big breakup that was over a 10-year span of a relationship… It’s like a death when you lose a love that deep. It feels like a death…. Honestly, sometimes [death] even feels easier because [with a breakup] the person is still walking on the earth.”
