Lili Reinhart And Cole Sprouse Have Reportedly Broken Up
They were just seen at Comic-Con together over the weekend

Riverdale costars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse have reportedly broken up after two years of dating, multiple sources have confirmed to Us Weekly. The duo has not yet publicly addressed the news, but the outlet pointed out that they "were spotted keeping their distance from each other" at the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con party on Saturday. Sprouse was also reportedly overheard saying that he and the Hustlers actress had split.
A source also told E! News that the co-stars “broke up earlier this summer” and are “not living together this season” of Riverdale. E!’s source hinted at the possibility of a reunion as well. “Right now, it's unclear where things stand, but it seems [like] they could be heading back in the direction of getting together,” the insider added.
Sprouse and Reinhart were, however, seen sitting together during San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, as they spoke at a panel for their hit CW series along with the rest of the cast. The actress also posted an Instagram photo with Sprouse and costar KJ Apa with the playful caption, "Please don't put me between these two ever again."

She also posted a series of silly photos featuring Sprouse on her Instagram Story, zooming in on his awkward facial expression with a GIF reading "Help lol."
Reinhart and Sprouse first sparked dating rumors after attending a Comic-Con party in 2017, ELLE pointed out. Since then, the actors have frequently featured each other in loving tributes on their Instagram accounts but have refrained from fully divulging details about their romance.
"I'm not okay talking about my relationship," Reinhart told BAZAAR.com last year. “I'm not going to tell you my love story. That's just not appropriate right now."
The actress added that "speculation" about her personal life in general wasn't easy to handle. "Am I pregnant? Am I dating someone? Am I gay? Am I gaining weight? Am I homophobic?" she added. "People will always have something to say. I've accepted that. It doesn't mean it's not frustrating when people say those things. It's not like it just rolls off my back."

Riverdale Season 4 premieres in October, and Sprouse and Reinhart's on-screen relationship as Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper might also face some challenges. Reinhart recently told Entertainment Tonight that as the two characters experience some distance in the upcoming season, that'll "cause some stress" for the couple.
"I think it might be a little bit tense," Sprouse added. "They might fall, turn away from each other, only to come back together way stronger. I think they're gonna be really good."
