It was a big night for the Riverdale fandom: stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2018 Met Gala.

Reinhart looked like a literal angel (a fitting look for the night’s theme, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”) in a shimmery silver H&M gown, while Sprouse looked dapper in a black Thom Browne tuxedo and bow tie.

The Riverdale stars have appeared on their fair share of red carpets together to promote their show, but this is the first time they’ve publicly attended an event together since announcing their relationship. Last month, Sprouse and Reinhart were spotted kissing and holding hands while vacationing together in Paris and later, Mexico, signs fans took as official confirmation that the two are, indeed, dating.

Yesterday, Reinhart took to Instagram Stories to post a screenshot of a tweet she sent from 2017, responding to a query from a fan about whether she was attending last year’s Met Gala. “Psh, I wish. In my dreams,” it says.
