Meghan Markle looked so chic while on a lunch date with friends in West Hollywood yesterday.

The Duchess of Sussex was photographed leaving Gracias Madre on Melrose Avenue in a sleek all-black ensemble. BAZAAR.com has learned she took all the female employees from her Archewell team out for an International Women's Day luncheon. For the day, Archewell partnered with Harvest Home, an organization that helps provide housing, mental wellbeing support, and classes to expectant mothers who've faced challenges including domestic violence, substance use, and homelessness, per Archewell.

Meghan's outfit for the occasion was a masterclass in sophisticated, off-duty dressing; it consisted of a breezy sweater, matching tailored pants cropped at the ankles, a black long cashmere coat from Max Mara, and white pointed-toe Valentino mules.

Her black-and-white Chanel handbag with a silver chain strap matched her minimalistic look, as did her black Valentino sunglasses and white stud earrings.

Meghan topped off the look with layers of bracelets—including a gold Cartier Love bangle—her gold wedding band, and her favourite Cartier Tank watch.

Keeping it LA-casual, she kept her makeup look natural, pulled her hair up into a messy bun, and wore a simple black manicure.

The duchess was caught on video walking around the city with two female coworkers. At one point, she waved to photographers and cheerily said, "Have a good day guys—thank you so much."

Prince Harry was not present at Meghan's ladies lunch, as the Duke of Sussex appeared on stage at BetterUp's Uplift Summit in San Francisco. Speaking in his role as chief impact officer, the duke acknowledged International Women's Day and the work being done by the staff at Archewell; among other things, he called the nonprofit's all-female communications team "the most resilient people" he knows.

Meghan's Wednesday outing came as BAZAAR.com reported the news that Buckingham Palace was finally updating its website to acknowledge the royal titles of her and Prince Harry's two children: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. (The palace made the update this Thursday morning.)

It is also Meghan's first public outing since BAZAAR confirmed she and Harry held a christening for 1-year-old daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born on June 4, 2021.
