Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are having a duchess' day out at Wimbledon this weekend. The royal in-laws will watch Ladies' Singles Final on Saturday, July 14, Kensington Palace announced today.

Middleton is a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, and hence a royal patron of Wimbledon. She'll also attend the competition on Sunday, July 15, to watch the Mens' Singles Final with her husband, Prince William. But let's be honest, the main attraction here is her solo appearance with Meghan. (Sorry, Wills!)

Meghan has previously attended Wimbledon to cheer on her good friend, Serena Williams. She was last spotted in the crowd in 2016. At one match, she was seen just rows away from Kate's younger sister Pippa.

Saturday's outing will also mark Kate's first time attending the tournament this year, although Pippa, her brother James, and their parents have already been spotted at matches in the past week.

When Serena Williams was recently asked if the Duchess of Sussex would watch her play at this year's tournament, she teased, "We'll see. If I keep winning." The tennis champ just won her match against Julia Görges during her semifinal match today. She'll be facing off with Germany's Angelique Kerber on Saturday when Kate and Meghan watch.

Back in 2016, Williams also snapped a selfie with the the Duchess of Cambridge during down time.

Before the match, the Duchesses will meet with former Wimbledon women champions and ball boys and girls, royal commentator Omid Scobie points out.

Markle and Middleton have made a number of royal appearances together, including the Royal Foundation Forum (their first joint engagement), the Commonwealth Day services, Trooping the Colour, and the Royal Air Force centennial just this week. However, this will mark the duo's first solo engagement together.

We can't wait!
