  • Meghan Markle has been given her first royal patronages since joining the royal family. The Duchess of Sussex stepped out following the announcement to visit one of the charities, Smart Works in London, which supports vulnerable and unemployed women to return to work.
  • – Wearing an Oscar de la Renta cotton-twill coat, a black maternity dress by Hatch, and Gianvito Rossi heels, Meghan stunned as she visited the charity, where she gave an empowering speech.
  • – Speaking to a group of women about supporting one another, Meghan said, “It’s not just donating your clothes and seeing where they land, it’s really being part of each other’s success stories as women, right?” (via royal commentator Carolyn Durand).

Meghan Markle is set to have an extremely busy year in 2019. Following the announcement that the Duchess of Sussex is now the royal patron of four different organizations, Meghan stepped out in London to visit Smart Works.

Speaking to a group of women at the charity, Meghan discussed the importance of women supporting one another to better themselves. The charity Smart Works provides unemployed women with the support and coaching they need to get back into work, and that includes providing them with a smart wardrobe to match.

Meghan discussed the importance of donating clothes to the charity, which helps women in need to find the perfect outfit for job interviews:
