Fresh off a mission trip to Bangladesh as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Orlando Bloom stopped by Singapore to join in the celebrations of Braun Büffel's 130th Anniversary. Team BAZAAR sat down with the dashing English actor right before the party to play a game of Word Associations and ask him a couple questions about his greatest loves.

Being an actor The creative process. It’s fun to build/create a character in your mind and see it come to mind.

Life at this point Being a father and seeing my son grow.

Working with UNICEF I’ve done about nine to 10 trips with UNICEF over the years—the most recent one being to Bangladesh—and each one is unique and special. There is always this overwhelming sense of gratitude for what you have in your life when you witness the profound challenges and circumstances these communities are living in, and it is even more humbling to be able to work with UNICEF on their remarkable efforts to make a difference in the lives of women and children in the world.

Braun Büffel I’ve been doing a fair bit of travel around Asia and became more familiar with the brand through that. I was then asked to join them for this really special evening here, to celebrate 150 years of their work and dedication to quality and craftsmanship, things I valued deeply myself.

Sense of style Fun, unique, and authentic—I always mix things up, and I’m a lot more colourful now.

In Your Bag I never leave the house without my iPhone, headphones, a cap, sunglasses and a neck pillow if I’m travelling.

Singapore The wonderful, welcoming people.
